About the event

Rodenticides are highly toxic poisons used to kill rodents-- and they kill other things, as well. Squirrels, opossums, and raccoons can find them appealing, and the predators who eat rodents--raptors, owls, and foxes--are vulnerable, too. Learn more about the problem and some solutions from Anthony Erwin, Maine Audubon Policy Advocate and Jacquie Gage, of the Rodenticide-Free Maine Coalition (and a Pen Bay Steward alum), plus Avery Berkowitz, Maine Wildlife Rehabilitation and Dan Smith, Modern Pest Services.
