Join Maine Master Naturalist Jeanine Libby on a 14-mile bicycle ride following the route the alewives swim as they migrate from the sea to China Lake and explore the dams in the area, the history of removing dams in some places and the creation of fish ladders in other places.

Join Maine Master Naturalist Jeanine Libby on a 14-mile bicycle ride following the route the alewives swim as they migrate from the sea to China Lake and explore the dams in the area, the history of removing dams in some places and the creation of fish ladders in other places. Individuals riding road bikes, cross bikes and e-bikes are welcome. This event is sponsored by the Appalachian Mountain Club and BBWC. It is free. Registration is required and will be limited to 12 participants. It will start and end at 175 Veteran Drive, Winslow.
